Devlog 05: A roadmap, and a way in
For a while now these updates have been me telling you what is coming. The website can finally show you instead.
There is a roadmap up now, a real one. It lays out exactly where Astral Command stands: what is already built, what I am building right now, and what is still on the horizon. No vague promises and no fixed dates I cannot keep, just an honest map of the project that I will keep current as it moves. If you have ever wondered how far along this actually is, that page is the answer, and you can read the whole thing in a couple of minutes.
There is also a way to stop reading about the game and start playing it. If you join the mailing list, you get access to a demo: a full one-on-one Commander duel you can play right in your browser, free. It is the head-to-head heart of Astral Command, the fast duel the whole game is built around, and it is the closest thing there is to sitting down at the table before the table exists.
And the demo is about to get better. A new build is coming within the week, with the mechanics reworked and filled out, a more complete and more thorough version of the duel than the one up now. Join the list and you will be playing the new one the moment it lands.
Read the roadmap, then come play the duel. After all this telling, I would rather just show you.
