Devlog 07: The look is locked

A universe needs a face, and Astral Command’s is now set.

The branding is finished, the name, the logo, the visual language the whole project speaks in. That might sound minor next to rules and cards, but it’s the part that makes everything feel like one world instead of a pile of separate good ideas. The site, the shop, and everything still to come now pull from the same identity.

Locking it early matters for a practical reason. When the commander cards, the packaging, and the public wiki all arrive, they’ll already belong together, not look like three different projects wearing the same name. It’s the quiet groundwork that makes the loud stuff land later.

It also lets us move quicker from here. With the identity settled, every new piece has a frame to fit into instead of a decision to reopen. The fun part, filling that frame with art and cards and worlds, is what comes next.
