Mirenoa is a territory world of House Astraea, a green planet of broad river valleys where the previous civilisation farmed and the present house farms again.
Naming voice
Mirenoa ends the way several of the oldest Astraea names end, on an open double vowel the translators believe marked a settled and cultivated place, so that the name itself recorded what the world was for.

Theme: Patience.
Discovery. In one of the wide valleys the survey teams found a circular stone seedhouse, low and weathered but standing whole. Its inner shelves still carried the stone-sealed seed vaults the previous civilisation laid down to outlast itself. The edict is cut into the lintel over the single doorway, so that no one can enter without passing under the words. The crews who catalogued the vaults walked beneath the carving every day of the dig, just as the builders had two hundred thousand years before.
