One of three families within Myndari. The eighteen-family system is the Archive's optimisation of the founding 60,000 colonist population. Three genetically distinct groupings per house, 18 total across the system. Cross-house pairings recommended by the Archive keep the broader gene pool varied across generations.
Character of the line
Quendar was Myndari's relay line, the family of what is sent and what is received, concerned less with gathering a signal than with moving it to exactly where it needed to land. If Sylvest kept the network and Verren listened through it, Quendar carried, and the family's instinct ran toward timing and delivery, the perfect arrival of the right knowledge at the right moment.
The temperament was patient and precise. A Quendar understood that a thing known too early or too late might as well not be known at all, and treated the act of passing it on as the place where the house's advantage actually came due. Within a house built entirely on what it had already seen, Quendar was the line that decided when the seeing finally became a move.
