Arrival in Solace system

What happens
After a hundred and twenty years in transit, the fleet decelerated into its destination system and the cryo pods opened across all six ships. Someone, in those first waking hours, called the system Solace, and the name carried from ship to ship until it stuck. For one brief moment, looking out at the same unfamiliar sun, the colonists were unified again, not by mission this time but by wonder.
Consequence
In Earth's own records the system had been catalogued as Tau Ceti. The name the colonists chose by instinct, Solace, would turn out to be no coincidence at all. As later research into the worlds they had inherited revealed, it was the translated name the system's previous civilisation had given it, and the colonists adopted that ancient name as their own once they understood what they had stumbled into.
